Terrible doctor

My experience with Dr. Tankeh was consistently poor. She does not remember patients nor take good notes during visits, so you have to constantly reexplain your health conditions every time you have a visit with her, even when you have frequent monthly appointments. She is not well-informed of known and established medications that were released 20 years ago. Much of her knowledge even directly contradicted other doctors as well as reputable online sources. I had to politely educate her about medications or where she was in direct contradiction of widely-known facts about some medications. Her office visits are extremely rushed. Every time we'd briefly discuss something she wanted to get up and leave the room even though I had gone into the appointment with a brief list of things to discuss. For all of my appointments she was at least 20 minutes late and as much as 35 minutes. I switched to a different psychiatrist and the difference has been night and day.

Dr. Tankeh is fantastic. She really took the time to hear me out and make me feel comfortable about my fears and concerns. She put in the effort to get me help and followed through with checking on how my treatment was benefitting me..
