Dr. Shah, and the entire team made the knee replacement experience go about, as well as it possibly could have. His office was very courteous and professional about answering questions prior to the surgery, and making me feel completely prepared. The pre-hab exercises contributed greatly to my feeling of preparedness. Everyone at Mass General Faulkner was courteous, professional, and helpful. And of course, Dr. Shaw did a wonderful job replacing my name, and in only 52 minutes!. The recovery has gone really well, very little pain, swelling was gone within about six weeks and I started playing tennis again after about eight weeks. I can’t speak high enough about Dr. Shah and his team.

I am so lucky that I found Dr. Shah for my hip replacement. He took time with me to make sure all my questions were answered, he's very personable and caring, made me feel comfortable and confident going into the procedure. He even called the night before to check how I was doing. All my fears were for nothing, I have no pain, a small scar, he's so competent and talented. Additionally, his staff is incredibly responsive and go above and beyond expectation. This was my second hip replacement, first with a different doctor, if you are in pain and need surgery, don't seek out anyone else.

Dr. Vivek Shah is very easy to talk to. He listens attentively and he will answer every question you have.I have had two total hip replacements one of which was 14 years ago and the other 3 months ago.I am very pleased with both outcomes. He’s the Best of the Best.

Dr. Shah replaced my left hip. During the consultation process, Dr. Shah was patient, information and caring. Dr. Shah and his team worked seamlessly leading up to the surgery. After surgery, his team was there to get me on my feet again. Very satisfied with his professionalism.

I had a partial knee replacement done by Dr. Shah. Everything from my first appointment to my post op appointment has been perfect. Appointments have been on time, Dr Shah and his staff are professional but easy to understand and never rushed, surgery went well, and I healed faster than expected. I followed his discharge instructions and did all my PT and am playing pickleball, cycling and swimming! Very happy!

Cannot say enough good things about Dr Shah and his staff. He was caring, on time, answered all my questions and I never felt rushed.
