Dr. William Kennedy Main, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Main’s since 2015, when he did a two level fusion on my c4-c6 cervical spine. I recently had to return for an additional surgery on my c6-c7. My words cannot explain the level of experience and knowledge that Dr Main exemplifies ! The Dr has patience and understands what it is to be a human being and a person and makes the Dr and patient relationship comfortable and plainly stated normal ! He shows you he cares and really looks out for his patients!! I can only say if you need any type of cervical surgery or guidance In that area I will say there is no better !! This is a genuine review and nothing here is fabricated !! I thank him a million times !!

I had gone to a few surgeons before deciding Dr. Main was the surgeon for me. The first day I met Dr. Main he made me feel comfortable in discussing my problem. He discussed everything about the procedure both before and after. On the day of surgery, he met me in the hospital along with my family and discussed everything that they needed to know. He was so calming and made me feel ready for what he does best - operate. If you want a knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, a person with a great sense of humor, makes you feel confident that everything is going to be alright, and follows up after surgery with you then look no more: Dr. Main will not disappoint you!!!!

I first met Dr. Main in 1997, after seeing 3 other orthopedic surgeons . I had a terrible pain in my shoulder and upper back and numbness and weakness in my right arm attributed to a serious fall and whiplash injury..several.lumbar disc herniations and fractures, nerve impingement. All said fusion and discectomy was in order. Dr. Main also believed surgery was the best quick fix...however, he listened to me and my concerns...I was an athlete and very active participating in several sports. The Doc recommended physical therapy. He saved me from a surgery that may have resulted in more pain and limited mobility. I thank God for Dr. Main every day for his honesty and for truly caring. He gave me the courage to go forward and get well. Today, I am proud to say, I almost forgot that I ever had an issue with my neck...no pain no limitations. Thank you Dr. Main!

It took over 10 years to find Dr. Main, I always say that he had saved my life. Dr. Main doesn't have any competition. I have been so fortunate to have found him. Not only would I recommend him to my friends, I only wish that everyone knew how good of a surgeon he really is. If going to him again wasn't an option for me I would never go to anyone else.

Dr.William Main has got to be one of the most honest,caring, intelligent surgeons I have ever met! Diagnosis was completely accurate, his goals for my surgery and recovery were honest and reasonable. Dr.Main's bedside manner is comforting,sympathetic,understanding and encouraging. He is always available for follow up. He is humble and I feel divinely gifted! His surgery has helped to change the quality of my life!!
