This guy is a narcissistic, ego-maniacal pr!ck, with a gambling problem. Don’t gamble with your eyesight with this fool.

Dr McCabe is not respectful of a patient’s time. My 91 year old mother has been a patient of Dr McCabe for 5 years. She has advanced dementia. We walked out of her appointment today after waiting over 2 hours and NENER seeing the doctor. No apology or explanation was given for the wasted time. The equipment in the room we were in was dirty with makeup or something. Very dissatisfied and will never return.

Initially McCabe was very mannerly even gave a plant before my moms surgery.. she went blind soon after from cataract and glaucoma surgery.. when questions were asked he became aggressive and very disrespectful and demeaning.. The staff followed his lead.. after loosing vision in one eye the only concern was for my elderly mother to schedule surgery for the only eye left.. when we said we would think about it the disrespect elevated.. the doctor walked out. The tech left the chair raised extremely high whiles she finished her notes.. meanwhile my elderly mother with dementia kept trying to get out of chair to get her walker. A young tech noticed any lowered the chair.. The anger was because mccabe is so arrogant and should never be questioned. For elderly patients & care givers - proceed with caution

He was very late, talked incessantly, never asked me to read with my glasses on, told me the lens would range from $900-$2600 - no Medicare coverage. I went to another Opthamologist & what a differnce. Cancel your appt. if you have one!!!

Never did get to visit with him - staff only tried to help me. Waste of insurance and my money, and a waste of my time!

Went to this dr for lens for reading etc. he put two lense in for long distance which to this day I see halos at night on every light. Hard to drive at night seeing halos on each car. Please do not go to him.

They overbook and can't take care of their patients. They do not return phone calls. Don't let this doctor do any surgery on your eyes.

Have been waiting 4 plus hours to see Dr. Go to Vanderbilt Eye they care about there patients.

Had surgery almost 2 years ago and still having problems. He tells you to call with problems and does not answwer your call. I had to get an attorney just to get my records, then they weren't correct.

Love LONG waits? Go to this doctor. Love never getting a copy of your records even when they KNOW a specialist is waiting for it and you call every single day for three weeks? Go to this doctor. Like ordering contacts and it taking three weeks only to be told that they didn't order them? Go to this doctor. Or.... STAY AS FAR FROM THIS OFFICE as you can and find a doctors office that will take care of you.
