Dr. Steven Sheskier, MD

Irreversibly damaged my intact tendon by doing blinded PRP without ultrasound and not centrifuging my blood. I've had to get surgeries to fix the damage he did. I believe he damaged my foot intentionally and maliciously since he was the only surgeon who falsely claimed my tendon was "completely diseased" and that my xrays showed "severe arthritis bordering on DJD" and he wanted to convince me to do "triple arthrodesis". I saw 5 other surgeons and none of them diagnosed me with any of these things. In fact, they said my tendon was "intact" and that I had "NO arthritis". Sheskier is a greedy liar. He not only disabled me but tried to defraud me with sham PRP. He apologized and offered me refund.

He did not depend on the report I gave him regarding the condition of my legs, as a previous doctor did, but he took x-rays himself to validate the assessment of the reports.

As a physician myself, I can appreciate a first rate physician when I see one. He is extremely insightful and analytical, and an excellent surgeon, but not quick to operate if it is not necessary. He is patient, thorough and caring and I can recommend him without reservation .

I have been a patient of dr. Sheskier practice at university place for the past 5 years.i had a r ankle replacement done in 2016.i had a lt ankle fusion done also.my recovery was excellent. Dr. Sheskier recently performed complex foot surgery, which required extensive modification during my surgery itself, all of which was independently confirmed to be of extraordinarily quality. From my very first visit through my recovery time, Dr. Sheskier carefully, comprehensively explained the all medical and recovery issues involved in my care and recovery. Importantly, in a manner, and with layperson's words, so I could understand all that was being explained. His manner of communicating: thorough, caring and conversant. Dr. Sheskier's staff could not be more able. I never waited for an answer to several questions, but for a minute or two, if that; fully, fully informed of general procedure and recovery issues, and most personable -- as is Dr. Sheskier himself. ALL insurance issues were addressed thoroughly and timely. Scheduling and the operation procedure were entirely efficiently handled. I'd say, RUN to his office, but I my case, no running was possible. But the pint is… that the man, and his art, and his office staff, are exceptional!

Dr Sheskier is a kind and compassionate surgeon who gives his patients his full attention and answers all of your questions.

I have been treated by Dr. Sheskier for 2 separate foot problems over the past 20 years. And I have been very pleased both times. On the first occasion, he advised me that he would use surgery on my Achilles tendon as a last resort and solved my problem through other means. Dr. Sheskier recently performed extensive foot surgery on me and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome. Dr. Sheskier is an incredibly skilled surgeon and I would highly recommend him without any reservation whatsoever. His office staff on University Place is very helpful, courteous and professional.

I waited 1 hour for Dr. Sheskier!! -- way beyond my limit of waiting for doctors!! Then, I found him to be unpleasant, condescending, and seemingly irritated when my answers to his questions were not precisely what he was seeking! He had a scowl on his face thru the whole appointment and rolled his eyes when he did not like the answers I gave him. I tried long answers, then short answers .,.. but the doctor just seemed aggravated. He also moved my foot around roughly and when i left, the pain was much worse than when I came in. Find some other MD! This doctor is simply too unpleasant. He definitely does not respect his patients!

After insisting I get an unessicary MRI in the foot that didn't have a problem, he told me what I already knew about my "bad" foot and recommended surgery. Fine. So I start asking questions on the surgery itself, recovery time etc... After maybe 4 questions he ROLLED HIS EYES, gave an irritated huff, and continued on. Then he continued to use a degrading and insulting tone IN FRONT OF HIS INTERN. I left livid, appalled, disrespected AND without any advice on treating my condition. Find someone else. Wait time: 1 hour, which means I could have stayed at work that much longer instead of bending over backwards to fit his limited hours that he is apparently too good to working.
