Dr Atkinson took his time with me discussing my shoulder issue and the total replacement surgery. I never felt rushed. He is kind and his office staff was very friendly and helpful. I am extremely satisfied with the results. I had minimal pain following surgery and physical therapy went well. I would highly recommend Dr Atkinson.

No pain after total shoulder replacement. Should have done this earlier. PT staff were great, as is the entire staff. Gaining strength is now at top priority.

I chose Dr Atkinson for my rotator cuff surgery based on reviews i read on-line. Boy were they accurate. His sincere approach to understand my issue, his explanation on what would be the fix, and his professionalism before and after the surgery leaves me completely satisfied that I made the best choice possible. Had a Reverse Shoulder Replacement done in November of 2025. Recovery has been smooth but also I had little to no pain. I am now done with the Physical Therapy, though needing to continue to exercise to build strength, but have been cleared to begin golfing or fishing again. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Atkinson and his staff. His follow up was nothing like I have seen before, he called me on a Sunday night, most doctors have their assistants call not him, he does it. If you are having to get joints fixed or replaced contact Dr. Atkinson.

I have had chronic knee pain for several months and after a dedicated search found Dr. Atkinson. After my initial consultation and diagnostic procedures, Dr. Atkinson informed me that my pain was due to a torn meniscus. I had no idea how this occurred to me, however after discussing my options, I elected to have an arthroscopic repair. Good decision. My pediatrist and a neighbor who is a nurse recommended Dr. Atkinson. I had a shoulder procedure and a complex total hip replacement, and a family member had a total shoulder replacement. We are very glad we picked Dr. Atkinson. Excellent results. His PT room is located directly across from his exam rooms. His PT is by far the most effective I have ever gone through. Dr. Atkinson is very concerned about his patients, and this carries over into PT, the front desk, all aspects. I consider myself lucky to have picked him.

The Staff and Dr. Atkinson were very attentive and personal, made me feel I was really known. My new shoulder is 100% better. The Therapy was supportive and made the time there fun.

This is one excellent surgeon. Dr Atkinson replaced both of my shoulders and I couldn't be happier with the results. He listens carefully and proceeds cautiously.
