Dr. Antonio Rivera, MD

The medical assistant, Brittany Miller, made numerous mistakes with my medications, including wrongfully accusing me of abusing the medications, then the doctor discharged me to cover up the assistant's illegal actions.

Please Beware!!! He is the best doctor I have seen since moving 11 yrs ago to Florida. I saw him three times for pain management. I am a plus 70 yr, old who has never taken any drugs but my prescription. On my second visit he added two medications to what he was giving me. One was Tylenol # 3 with codeine, the other was for sleep. On my third visit I took a urine test which was fine with me. Next thing I know I get a registered letter saying he will not see me anymore. Luckily, the medication was listed on the paper that went to the Laboratory. We immediately saw the sleeping pill nor the # 3 Tylenol was on the list. I may not me a scientist but I am smart enough to know what's going in is going to come out. I called the Laboratory and talked to the head of the testing department. She pulled my file and added the two prescriptions from him and said that's the problem. All of us can take # 3 Tylenol with codeine but when it hits our liver it shows up as Morphine. I then… called his nurse and requested he call the laboratory. She told me he had made his final decision. Then she said you are taking Morphine???? I called the Laboratory back and she called to speak with the Doctor. No luck same nurse said his decision was final. So I have cancer, knees that need replacing and a disease where my bone just break. Now trying to find another pain management doctor. Just make sure all your medication is listed before they send your urine away to be tested. It breaks my heart I liked him so much but the staff would sacrifice an elderly sick patient than to say they had made a mistake with my paperwork.

One of the best I have ever had in the last 50 years! He listens, he gets it, he treats you wisely.

Dr. Rivera is kind, patient and understanding. He takes the time to hear you and does whatever is needed to help. He's a 10 star doctor.

I have seen Dr.Rivera for a workman's comp injury, he has treated me conservatively. He has always listened to my body and helped to get me back on my feet. I would recommend this doctor to everyone!

My experience has been wonderful with Dr. Rivera. He cares, he is an excellent diagostician, prescribes appropriate meds, and LISTENS. His staff has always been very professional but friendly. I love Dr. Rivera and his sense of humor to boot! I had been too many doctors about my condition, and was almost paralyzed when n I went to Dr. Rivera. He knew right away what was wrong and helpped me get my SSDI. Thank God for doctors like him. I will always be grateful to him.
