Dr. Bonnie J. Brooks, MD

Dr Brooks is an amazing physician. She LISTENS to me. She provides excellent support and answers ALL of my questions/concerns.

How I wish I'd read the reviews about the staff! I was so looking forward to having the great Dr. Bonnie Brooks as my physician. I had waited 8 months until she was finally taking new patients. But I couldn't deal with the condescending front desk person (the other front desk person was wonderful, but she was helping someone else), the scheduling people who couldn't stop talking to each other about what they were having for lunch although I was sitting right in front of them, but the worst was the woman in charge -- used her "authority" irrationally in a disrespectful, rude manner. The doctor may be great but her own lack of knowledge of trauma-informed medicine, which would mean not tolerating such behavior from her staff, is a detriment to a community where PTSD is of high incidence due to the presence of the military. Beware!

She's the much smarter younger sister I never had!

Hope I can keep Dr. Brooks for ever. She is a real jewel of a Doctor and person. When I am sick , a visit to Doctor Bonnie changes things and getting well is on the way.

She is the best Dr. I have ever had. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking knowledgable, expert, and caring medical care.

the whole Sentera System is overwhelmed. Be prepared for people who are trying to do too much with too little.

Ease of appointment: Staff rude when making appointments and during check-in. Promptness: Always a long wait in waiting area and in exam room. Courteous staff: Again, rude, impolite, long holds on phone, laughing amongst staff while patient waits, made several condescending remarks. Accurate Diagnosis: Situations where unnecessary antibiotics were prescribed, i.e. I didn't fill Rx and condition improved on it's own. Bedside Manner: Sometimes warmer than others, but often standoffish. Time spent: Usually adequate, but sometimes feels rushed (There is an average 30 minute wait, so she is always trying to catch up). Follows up: Never and rarely returned messages. Perhaps she never received the messages. Her office staff was, BY FAR, the worst part of this practice. The office manager was not any better. If she doesn't care about the clients, why should the staff, she sets the standard. When I contacted the manager with my concerns she only responded after I contacted her supervisor.
