Dr. Camille Yvonne Keene

I saw her while she had her practice in Lake county, California. Why do you think she left? She's the worst doctor I've ever been to. She acts as though she's the only one who has an education. She's rude and arrogant . She claimed that my already diagnosed neurological disorder was a form of epilepsy and put me on anti-siezure medication. I disagreeded and had a second opinion at Stanford University Medical Center. The epilepsy expert there told me I was correct. I did not have epilepsy and he was very sorry I had to go through all of this. She should be in research and away from the public.

This doctor will have you taking very expensive tests out the kazoo. She immediately veered from my reason for making an appointment to an old note she found in my primary doctor's file. Even after I declined (in writing) her extensive list of tests, I was receiving calls from the hospital to set up an appointment. She's new to this area and I think our local hospital will find a real "cash cow" in all the (unnecessary) tests ordered by this doctor.

I have tried for over a year to even get a call back for her, then when I did recieve a call she asked I fax paperwork to her and they would make an appointment within the day that was 6 months ago and still no call

Ok, yes the wait time to get into see Dr. Keene is way way way to long. Also, if you ever want to get your records sent to another doctor you are looking at a long long long wait - get copies from Keene before you leave. Dr. Keene might not have the best bedside manners but I found her stiff and to the point because instead of finding time for visiting she'd rather get to the point and find out what is wrong with you - the reason you are there. She, and her staff, are experts at knowing how to get insurance to cover a wide range of tests and x-ray/MRI etc... to properly figure what is wrong. I have never, and may never again, found such a detailed doctor. She leaves no stone unturned - she will test for anything and everything that might help and her and her wonderful staff will work with insurance to somehow get it covered. She seemed cold but she was determined and dedicated to get to to point and find out what was wrong. She left no holes or questions in her search and I really… appreciated her and her wonderfully friendly office staff.
