Dr. Nadeem Ehsan Haq, MD

My name is Terry Chandler. I have been going to Dr. Haq for a few years . He has done laser & cataract surgery on me & I highly recommend him & all of his staff. Both in his office & in the Medical City Surgery Clinic in Denton, Texas.

Nice enough doctor. Staff rude; they talk about you when you turn away from The desk. We were given a procedure that INS did NOT cover; we were not told then Nancy cancelled the surgery because I did Not Have a way to Pay right then and there. She called me a liar and was completely obnoxious. I work for physicians in Denton and if any of our established patients ( of 1” years) were treated this way... the person would Have been terminated. AND SHE IS THE OFFICE MANAGER! I Really don’t know if he is aware of His staff rudeness or the fact that they broke CMS policy by Performing a procedure without notifying the patient, then tried to Collect! Shameful.

If you are middle eastern and worship allah, then you will fit right in.

Dr. Haq has zero personality. He walked with the sour face, didn't smile, didn't thank me for coming to see him, didn't ask how or where I found out about him, nothing,no small talk, I guess he thought I should be the one bowing to him for seeing me. The Plano location is like maze or assembly line. I was told ahead of the time that it would take two hours. Of course, silly naive me, I thought that's how long the doctor and the nurse would spend time with me, on my testing and talking to me. Out of those two hours, I spent maybe 7-8 minutes with the nurse answering her questions, then I would say 10 minutes doing the "dot test" and after that, only maybe 3-4 minutes with the doctor...and before I blinked, he was out. So, two hours I was mainly waiting in between. Maybe when you come for the Lasik consult, they smile and super-friendly because you are their potential money spender. I was there just for the eye exam/consult and I didn't get the 'love' that I was promised on the… phone when schedule an appt. But what is more crazy is that I spend somewhat $350 for the exact same tests that I normally pay $70 for at the Mall Ophthalmologist's office. Actually, at the Mall Ophthalmologist's office they took color pictures of my both eyes before, which Key Whitman didn't do. The desk where I paid wasn't very smiling either, they acted like they could't wait to get out. A month later I went to a different Ophthalmologist and couldn't believe the difference! The doctor was friendly, sweet, caring. spent time with me, asked questions, answered all of my questions with patience. no rush, gave me advise ad suggestions. He didn't know whether I was going to do the surgery or not, he just treated me like he would his family. I felt comfortable, it was like I met an old friend. I would not mind spend more money there on exams and surgeries.

Office staff is cold, and not knowledgeable. Haq is cold, and gave me wrong information 7 years ago that attributed to my increasing vision loss. I would not recommend this guy or his staff to anyone.

Dr. Haq was super and did a wonderful job with my surgery. However, his office staff was not very accommodating to my needs and not at all friendly. In fact, the surgery coordinator constantly ignored my requests, while possessing her own agenda. Dealing with the staff was a very unfortunate experience, but Dr. Haq is worth the visit.

I thought the male employee who started the visit could have been a little more friendly,c explain things a little better, and frankly look a little nicer.

Dr. Haq is excellent. You will not find his equal in the Denton area.

The staff is very friendly and takes away any fears or worries you may have. Then when Dr Hag walks in the room you know you have made the right choice. I have had cataract removal ( at only 50 years old) and I have a degenerative eye disease and I'm so thankful for Dr Hag and his staff for being the ones who will help me thru this.

I have seen Dr Haq several times for myself, my mother and mother-in-law. He performed cataract surgery on my mom. She could not have done better. I would recommend him without reservation!
