Dr. Richard Parry Winder III, MD

Terrible terrible doctor. Dr. Winder is concerned with surgery and surgery alone. He has no compassion or care for his patients whatsoever and will rush you out at every opportunity. After surgery, don’t ever expect to see him again as he will turn into a ghost. He will send his PA’s to talk with you despite requesting specifically to speak with Dr. Winder. The post operative care here is a complete joke. Dr. Winder is a surgeon that seems to be only interested cutting. After this experience, I question whether everything that was done in my procedure even needed to be done because Dr. Winder has completely lost my trust and doesn’t even have the decency to return my phone call. I will be seeking post operative care elsewhere and recommend people stay far away from this doctor and Desert Orthopaedic Clinic.

Dr Winder is prompt and made the process quick and easy. The entire staff was excellent for pre-surgery, during and after.

I had surgery last year by Dr winder..I told them that I was still having the same issues as prior to surgery during my recovery....They said oh you'll be fine after 3 months!! So I wasn't fine after 3 months and called them and they said, sorry we don't take your insurance anymore..find someone else!! If I would have known I couldn't follow up with him I would have never seen him in the first place!! Now it's 10 months out from his surgery and had a new MRI by new orthopedic surgeon that I had to wait months to see..OF COURSE MY KNEE IS STILL INJURED...as I suspected. Very disappointing and I believed the people who said he did good surgery...i don't call that good..very BAD experience!!!!

I had surgery and 7 months later I'm worse than before he did the surgery..They told me I'd do great and be fine...wrong!! Bad surgery..now have to get another dr to fix his mess...his asst. Areli? Is rude as it gets and very inexperienced.. Go to another surgeon..
