We were recommended by several of our friends to have Dr. Humbert perform the surgery for my necessary total knee replacement. Many of these same friends thought he (Dr. Humbert) was not only the best in the area, but likely the best in the entire state. Although total knee surgery is fairly common today, very few surgeons and anesthetists have had to simultaneously deal with the immediate surgery at hand, and also deal with a patient's extensive medical history, like my increased potential for blood clots, possible severe blood loss, ( as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses we take no whole blood), heart stenosis and other ongoing morbidity. The care that we received, along with the extreme attention to detail... involving literally every aspect of the actual surgery, post-surgery and physical therapy were followed up with exceptional detail and timeliness by Tyler Loxley PA. Not only did Dr. Humbert do a magnificent job, but the anesthetist, Dr. Marc Michelson (Chief Anesthetist), spent a… great deal of time and concern to provide the best outcome possible. Dr Humbert operated on me March 11,2026.The nurses that assisted Dr Humbert were excellent, the physical therapist were top notch.as was my home nurses.

I suffered for several years with hip and knee pain. I finally had to wake up to the fact I needed hip replacement surgery. Dr. Humbert performed the surgery and immediately after my hip was pain free. His team took great care of me pre- and post-surgery. They work with Patients First for home therapy and they set all that up prior to the surgery. The scheduling team worked with me and helped make sure any pre-op tests were scheduled and completed. They also set me up with follow-up appointments so I wouldn’t have to do that afterwards. Today I had my five-month follow-up, and everything not only looks great, most importantly it feels great. Dr. Humbert has assembled a great team that made the extra effort to help me after the surgery. He also performed rotator cuff surgery on my wife. She has had a wonderful recovery and never experienced any problems. She has knee replacement scheduled in the near future. We trust Dr. Humbert with our lives. He and his team and the best around. We… never had any issues pre- or post-surgery because they know what they’re doing. I’m walking more now than I ever did only because of the great success by Dr. Humbert and his team. I highly recommend Dr. Humbert. We could not be happier with the results we’ve had. Too many to mention, but I would like to thank Dr. Humbert and his entire staff for making me healthy again.

I just finished getting a total hip replacement. I could not have asked for a better physician always available to answer my questions. Great bedside manners and I highly recommend him to anybody. I even told My Sister she should come here and have her knee surgery.

Five weeks ago I had my second total hip replacement and there was no question that I wanted Dr. Humbert as the orthopedic surgeon. I wanted the same great experience and outcome that I had with the left hip in 2015, this time with the right hip! My expectations so far have been met, if not exceeded. 07/10/2023 had my right hip total replacement done, on 08/09/2023 I was walking, his staff and the staff at lee memorial were excellent just like a well oiled machine I listened to there instructions and FOLLOWED them. My opinion he is a 5 star doctor,planning mid march to have my left hip done. THANK YOU DR E. HUMBERT
