I read some negative reviews. I had non of the experiences described. I waited less than 5 minutes The staff was accommodating and friendly. Very pleasant. The exam was thorough. The doctor explained the findings clearly. He is confident with excellent credentials and his confidence and knowledge assured me I was in good hands. He was kind empathetic as was his staff. Very accommodating,, thorough and personable,, I would highly recommend him.

Very thorough and detailed doctor. Explained the situation very well. Some other reviews made mention of a wait and an attitude. Don’t listen to those reviews. Everyone was friendly and thorough. And regarding a wait, there was a little bit of a wait but the thorough nature of the detailed visit made it absolutely worth it! I will recommend to other family.

I had an unsettling experience at Dr. Falck’s office today. Long waiting times in a crowded waiting room are the norms for Dr. Falck’s office - an inconvenience that I’ve been willing to accept, pre COVID-19. While waiting room staff was wearing masks and gloves, the COVID-19 patient safety protocols in place today were not sufficient to control the flow and number of patients. Mask wearing and social distancing requirements, in many cases, were not being met by patients, i.e. an elderly patient wearing a mask - totally open at the bottom - coughing as she walked in front of people in the waiting room. The level of environmental safety that I expect from my healthcare providers was not met today. Regretfully, I will not be returning.

I have been seeing Dr Falck for several years and wouldn’t trust my eye health to anybody else. I have seen many other, (even specialists) who were unable to diagnose me correctly. Dr Falck not only diagnosed me correctly but my “strabismus” condition has been cured. I have other vision issues that Dr. Falck continues to make sure they are fixed or kept at bay. My entire family and many friends now see Dr Falck and have great experiences themselves with him. I could never thank him properly enough for all he has done for me.

I was a patient for approximately 15 years. I waited hours to see him because I thought he was the only specialist in my region that could care for my eye. I decided finally to leave the practice because I miraculously had cataracts and needed them removed right after just having another surgery on my eyes. I saw two other ophthalmologist who said I DID NOT have cataracts or need surgery. Then He would not release my medical records until I involved an attorney.

2+ hour wait time, dismissive attitude, blames patient for poor surgical results.

This man is rude and very unprofessional. He has made me wait in the waiting room and then in the patient room several times for over two hours. One time I got up out of the patient chair to leave and began walking down the hall because I heard him discussing politics for over a half hour with another patient, but he caught me and urged me to stay saying he would be right with me. I had two very excellent cataract surgeries done by Dr. Falck, but he strung me along with numerous glaucoma appointments for which I now know there was no evidence of. There are also numerous billing issues with this man's office. My mother was billed $600.00, yes, $600.00 for removal of an eyelash. We have both left his practice.

This man is arrogant, doesn’t like questions, makes you wait 2-3 hrs in his waiting room and then proceeds to tell you how good he is and that he is the only one who can help you with your eye issue. I went elsewhere, guess what? I don’t have what he told me I have and my new Dr. CAN help me with my eyes. Don’t go there.

The Wait Here is why you wait at Dr. Falck's office: He routinely triple books patients starting at 8am. His office arrival time is between 9-9:30am. Ditto for pm appointments. You are not sitting in the waiting room because of his care giving but because he is either finishing his coffee or morning paper. I have been told NOT to show up for a 9:45am appt. until 10:15 or 10:30am because the staff knows how far behind he'll be. This seems not to bother him at all. As a physician he is a solid average but not worth the wait. And don't be fooled by the "good eye care takes time" sign. It's overbooking, slow coffee drinking and the reading of periodicals that keeps his waiting room clogged. I am now happily with a new doctor who respects my time and is a solid excellent.
