Dr. Herminio Cuervo, MD

I am very impressed by Dr Cuervo-Delgado. He took my complaints seriously and took the time to ask me questions that were not so obvious in order to determine my condition. Neuro and muscular conditions are very hard to diagnose when you are symptomatic with other aggravating conditions such as arthritis and essential tremor. He took the time to listen to me in order to get a complete picture for a diagnosis. I truly believe he cares about his patients and not just a bottom line. Sincerely Thelma Jean

I am a retired Plastic , reconstructive, and Hand Surgeon. I was referred to Dr. Cuervo-Delgado for nerve conduction studies because of a left cubital tunnel syndromel. He was courteous and kind. He took the time to thoroughly test me and explain everything. I was impressed. Not many physicians are like this now-a-days!

Quality care. Cares about his patients and had improved my symptoms greatly.

None of the above matters, he is the most egotistical doctor I have ever met. My son has severe epilepsy and we get no compassion or suggestions from him about future care, all we get is expensive medication that no one can afford. He makes you feel below him because of his education and has yet to help our cause and we have been his patient for at least 3 years. We still have seizures regularly, hospital stays, emergency visits, etc. He even advised me as a parent, I should stay out of my adult son's life. My son can't drive a car, he can't be left alone, we all sit back and wait for the next seizure to hit and Dr. Cuervo has offered us no suggestions for future care whatsoever, in fact he gets offended by the mere suggestion that we should take our son to an epilepsy specialist.

Dr. Cuervo is a fantastic doctor! He actually listens to you, unlike most doctors. Good doctors are hard to find now a days. I highly recommend him!!! His staff is courteous and very helpful.

Dr. Cuervo recently treated my mother when she was hospitalized after suffering a stroke. He was an advocate for us in a difficult situation. His honesty, extensive knowledge, and easy manner were welcome traits that helped us deal with a very difficult situation. Dr. Cuervo honors the tradition of medicine and shows utmost respect for the patient. We are indebted to him for his kind and professional demeanor that helped us get through a very difficult time.

It took me a little whole to get in with Dr. Cuervo due to insurance stuff. When I finally had my first appointment I got a quick physical and was scheduled for an MRI and an EEG. I had the EEG on Tuesday and had my report of findings on Thursday. I did have a freak out moment because I was scared of some of the medicine I was prescribed for my epilepsy. He was understanding about it. I will say that he is very honest and blunt, but I find him hilarious. I really like him.
