Dr. Jeffrey Alan Krotenberg, DO

Dr. Krotenberg has been my doctor for many years. His office is a warm and inviting safe haven for those of us who suffer with vulnerable, challenging conditions. He has been able to help me navigate through tough times when other doctors have failed. A special person named Patty runs his front office and is always so welcoming, friendly & helpful. I always look forward to a quick chat with her before my appointment (in fact, I probably keep her talking too long!) I highly recommend this doctor to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, experienced & compassionate care-giver.

I was referred to Dr. Krotenberg and was very happy to start seeing him. His office staff is fantastic especially Patty. I have had to make appointments and reschedule them and she has always been very helpful and pleasant. Patty also makes sure if need a refill it gets done quickly. I believe that the office staff represents the doctor, whom I really like.

I really loved Dr. Krotenberg and felt like I was finally going to get some help with my major depressive disorder. His staff was terrible to me and refused to go get my medical records out of storage. Then they wouldn’t take me as a new patient. I tried only last time and was laughed at and told that the secretary is her own superior and I could complain about her behavior to only her. I asked for my number to be taken down so I could get a call back. Patty acted like she was going to take me number and when I let her know I’d be calling back if I didn’t receive a response she told me directly “the doctor won’t be calling you”. I am appalled at this behavior as it does not represent the doctor she works for.

For 18 years I had, without a doubt, the very best support ever. Every single person in their office is truly a team - and they are just wonderful and beyond compassionate and consummate professionals. I was very fortunate and remain grateful to this day for their care.

Dr K is simply the best. I am struggling with a chronic illness in addition to depression, anxiety and insomnia, so have lots of meds to co-ordinate. Dr K allows the patient to be part of the medication decision making process. He is warm and compassionate and easy to talk to. I drive an hour to see him.

I searched for years for a doctor who understood my diagnosis. He is kind as are his staff; all exceptional. He is very respectful and asks for input when medication(s) need adjusted. He is very responsive to emergencies. He has a good sense of humor (when appropriate). He understands that mental illness is a medical condition so there is no negativity. I've been with him many years. I had to wait to get in with him because he will not take more patients than he can see. Only drawback is no calls after hours. I've referred numerous people. People drive 2 hours away just to see him!
