The best doctor. He did an amazing job fixing my shoulder. He has a good bedside manner. You are in good hands with him.

If you want a referral for Physical Therapy and nothing else Dr Ticker will be for you - and if you want your X-rays be aware you will be charged $10 - I would not recommend this practice

Dr. Ticker was excellent at explaining the procedure. After the procedure my recovery was smooth.

After months of physical therapy on my shoulder and getting a cortisone shot, (neither of which provide any relief),I met with Dr. Ticker. He reviewed my MRI and laid out my options. He informed me that I was a candidate for surgery to repair a tear in the rotator cuff, relieve an impingement and remove scar tissue which limited range of motion. He explained in detail what was involved in surgery and rehab. He was available to explain to my wife what rehab would involve and how it would effect her. He encouraged questions and left no stone unturned. Both pre but especially post surgery, he stressed the importance of physical therapy and continuing it at home. I felt he truly cared about me as a patient. Not only was he a pleasure to deal with over the past 5 months but so was his entire staff. They are friendly, caring and highly professional. No one looks forward to surgery and the rehab that follows but Dr. Ticker and his team provide me the support that was needed. If anyone asks… me I would highly recommend Dr. Ticker.

Dr. Ticker always takes the time to fully explain your status and procedure needed for a successful outcome if surgery is necessary. I am very satisfied with the surgery he performed to repair my rotator cuff . I have already recommended him to family and friends who may need his services.

Dr Ticker told me that he would call the day after surgery. I was surprised that the next day I received a phone call from him after I had gone to physical therapy and he actually had read my chart and commented on something I had said to the therapist that morning. In my opinion that is one of the most important attributes and doctor can have is being true to their words and in my past experience with other doctors, they were never as throughout, compassionate.

Dr. Ticker came highly recommended and I now understand why. We started with a conservative approach and progressed to surgery. He took the time to explain everything and made sure he answered any and all questions I had. The surgery went very well and I am back to doing everything I did before my shoulder issues. I highly recommend Dr. Ticker for anything shoulder related.

I tore my rotator cuff years ago and it tore more last summer. I could not even lift my arm (my dominant one). My brother recommended him and I was so pleased. I am very active and expect to soon be able to do everything I used to do! I'm 4 months post op with minimal pain, great range of motion and strength is returning.
