Dr. Katherine D. Travnicek, M.D., FIPP

Katherine D. Travnicek, MD, FIPP, is triple board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, and Brain Injury Medicine. Dr. Travnicek is an expert in the treatment of non-operative spinal disorders and is a member of the World Institute of Pain (WIP), Spine Intervention Society (SIS), North American Spine Society (NASS), American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) and American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN). She serves on several committees for SIS and NASS as well as serves in leadership roles for Nevada ASIPP and USA branch of WIP. Dr. Travnicek received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University where she also competed on the D-1 cross country team. After being a personal trainer in Chicago, IL for a year, she earned her Medical Degree from the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS. She completed a medical internship at University of Nevada in Reno, NV.Her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency was completed at …the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Travnicek was in private practice for 2 years in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She went back into training and completed an interventional fellowship in Pain Medicine at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Pain Fellowship where she served as the chief fellow in 2013-2014.
