I found Dr Stein to be rude and frustrating to work with when we interacted at the UCLA Women's Life Clinic. Would not recommend.

Dr. Stein is committed to helping people. It’s a challenging career I’m sure, but seeing the relief in her patients makes it rewarding. I know this because she is as excited as I am to see my progress. She never talks down to me or pushes me to do things I’m not comfortable with. She’s helped me through transitioning to new medications without any side effects and it’s wonderful to be under her care.

Dr. Stein is wonderful. She is professional, extremely knowledgeable, and compassionate. She utilizes technology and makes scheduling very easy. Highly recommend!

I had been seeing Dr. Stein for over 5 years for medications and check ups. She is a wonderful Psychiatrist. It was refreshing to work with her after years of psychotherapy with a MD who did nothing for me. Kira took the time to listen and pay attention to how I really felt inside. I liked the fact she was "down to earth" an did not place herself above you. It was easy to trust her as she was comfortable with what she was doing. I liked her style.

My GP suggested that I talk to a psychiatrist, so I did some research and decided to give Dr. Stein a try. It has been a very rewarding experience. The office ambience is very professional. Appointments are scheduled with patient privacy concerns factored in. Dr. Stein and her staff are very computer saavy and I like the fact that I get appointment reminders via text message and meds ordered/refilled for me while I am at the medical office. Dr. Stein's office is bright and cheerful. I love her white leather couch that seems very welcoming. Dr. Stein was able to provide me with an accurate diagnosis on my first visit. I continue to see her every 3 months and actually look forward to our follow-up appointments. She is honest, trustworthy and a gifted professional.

I strongly distrust psychiatrists because I was misdiagnosed in the past. Dr. Stein was able to help me through a very dark period in my life and to provide a level of care that I didn't think a psychiatrist could offer (in terms of compassion, intelligence, and expertise). If you have doubts about visiting a psychiatrist, Dr. Stein is an excellent choice, because she treats patients like people and has never made me feel uncomfortable, awkward or ashamed.

Dr. Stein is an outstanding psychiatrist. I work in the field and Dr. Stein is simply the best I have had the pleasure of meeting. I offer her my highest recommendation.

I have been going to Dr Stein for 10 years. Being a nurse, I am cautious about placing my trust in a random doctor. Dr Stein understands how long term depression can deteriorate a persons ability to function. She is a genius in her knowledge of the action of medications. For years I used my internist for help with chronic depression and realized he "tried" drugs to see what worked without the pharmacological knowledge necessary for treating anxiety and depression. I have never felt that she questioned my "feelings" as being real, which is very important to me in trusting a psychiatrist. My biggest fear: what I would do without her?

Dr. Stein and her staff have changed my life. She hung in with me through some pretty dark days, and has always been available when I needed her. Together, we found the right combo of medicine and nutritional supplements to bring me back to normal.

Dr Stein and her office staff are very professional and caring. My husband and I have both experienced very excellent diagnosis and treatment. After seeing over half a dozen doctors over the last eight years with undiagnosed medical issues, Dr Stein was the one who cared enough to spend the time which finally led to a correct diagnosis and treatment. Dr Stein and her staff are tops in my book and I highly recommend them.
