Truly best doctor in the buisness who actually cares about his patients and does not rush you and i love that he gives you option on whats best for the patient would recommend Dr maclaren to all my fam and friends

What time is a joke. Waited over 1 hour and finally walked out. No doctor is that important. Never came to me and said sorry it's taking so long.

Can not ever get an appointment after being referred to his practice, called three times and left a voicemail message every single time. Still could not get anything done.

The news was not happy for me, but I really trust Dr. MacLaren, and he has recommended a course of treatment that I think will be very beneficial for me. He has done surgery on my mom and my daughter, also. We love him

seen by 3 staff before Dr MacLaren appeared. All were super friendly, communicated well, and thorough. Dr. MacLaren took a lot of time describing my shoulder injury and what were the options and prognosis for each. He even took model of shoulder to further explain my injury as well as show actual pictures of the surgical procedure he had recently completed on another patient. He was very professional but at the same time very personable in seemed genuinely concerned. I left office feeling very confident of his skill as well as the staff competency. Office staff also very friendly and thorough.

Another surgeon did my ankle surgery and left me bed ridden for 6 weeks because the screws he put in were too large. Dr.MacLaren reviewed my MRIs and said he will help me. Now I am able to walk again and I went from a 2 out of 10 in mobility to almost a 10 out of 10! Dr. MacLaren is the best orthopedic surgeon PERIOD.

I went to Dr. MacLaren as a second opinion because I could not dance and had a prior knee surgery 12 years ago. He assured me that it would turn out great and I would be back to dancing in 4 months. Not only can I not dance, I can barely walk now. The day of surgery, I was bumped from 07:30 to 5:30 at night. Everything went wrong after that. I was immediately full weight bearing, per Dr. MacLaren, but could not walk on the second day. The office told me sarcastically to take my pain meds, which I was already taking. My pain was increasingly worse and after 8 weeks I stopped physical therapy. At 13 weeks I took a witness into my 3rd postop appointment and told Dr. M that my pain was worse now than before the surgery and I was having trouble walking. He did not examine me, but instead gave me a prescription pad with orthopedic surgeons' names on it and left. He then documented that he examined me and that I had no pain. Beware!

While working with Dr. MacLaren at first seems very pleasant, trying to get anything from his office staff seems to take an act of congress. We have been trying for weeks to get copies of medical records without any return calls or response. We just keep getting dumped into voicemails. We have followed their procedures and still nothing. This lack of response is preventing my son from moving forward with the military which is disheartening considering Dr. Mac was in the military. Very poor response. I am very displeased with the office staff. We were treated great as an active patient, but now they act like we don't exist. At this point, it looks like the military will have to send a formal government request. Ridiculous. Shame on you, D1.

Scheduling is sorry, is very very poor. Someone needs to step up. Time with doc is okay. Office staff is friendly but incompetent. Sorry.
