If you are looking for a physician that has no empathy: If you are looking for a physician that does not review his prior progress notes, does not remember what he did on the last visit,(and acts like he remembers): If you are looking for a physician that sends you to a pain specialist, one that you needed to wait for three weeks - acute pain - and then informed that she does not treat your condition: If you are looking for a physician that does not listen to your concerns,: If you are looking for a physician who is hands off and does no physical examination: then I recommend Dr. Michael Schwartz, Orthopedic, highly. Please note that I was a Podiatric surgeon who trained residents in 5 hospitals throughout New York and a part owner of a surgical center. Dr. Schwartz is polished and appears very sharp. However, if you scratch the surface you will not get a diamond; only glass I recommend Orthopedic care at HSS, Northwell Health or even a Veterinarian over Dr. Schwartz.

Had surgery with Dr. Schwartz today. Awesome surgeon. Not only did he make me feel comfortable before my surgery but after the surgery he was there for me to explain . I would recommend Dr. Schwartz to family and friends any day. He deserves more then five stars. Thanks Dr. Schwartz you are re the best and I won’t go to any other orthopedic surgeon .

Life changing experience for me at the age of 25 tearing my ACL. I was really active doing all kinds of sports and activities. I’m so fortunate to have had Dr. Schwartz do my ACL surgery. He gave me back my life and I’m so happy with the outcome of this procedure. He’s very experienced and takes his time to listen and understand you. I always felt comfortable and at ease. He is overall the best doctor I have seen. He is caring and hardworking. Dr Schwartz is her good at what he does. The people who gave bad review are crazy!!

Stay away!!! I torn my ACL and after the 1st visit, he told me to go back to him after a month and schedule a surgery without any further explanation. No guidance, no advice. if I didn't go for a 2nd opinion, I wouldn't know how awful he is. There are many better doctors with much better personality and experience. He just wants to make the most amount of money with the least amount of work.
