I had a revision shoulder surgery about 15 years ago in Corpus Christi . I had a rod placed in my arm due to a a couple of fractures. That surgery was a total failure. I went to Dr. Wirth in San Antonio for revision surgery. Dr. Wirth was so knowledgeable and outstanding!!! The surgery wss a success! This Doctor is the epitome of professionalism!!!!

I was referred to Dr wirth because my surgeon felt it was to compl and icated for him. I was given a wonderful surgeon who was a miracle worker and I never thought I'd recover as great I have. I am scheduled to have surgery on my other shoulder soon and am so great full to have the best! He is an excellent man in and out of the operating room and a man I will always think fondly of! You will be a top priority and receive the best care when Dr Wirth performs your surgery.

Don't know how anyone could not be satisfied with Dr. Wirth. He is not only the best Doctor I have seen but also one of the finest human beings I know. I am 100 % satisfied. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Dr. Wirth is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He is definitely in a class above others!

Although Dr Wirth may be proficient in treating a fracture of the arm or dislocation of a shoulder, he was negligent in addressing other effects of the fractured humerus and dislocation of my right shoulder. I suffered complete paralysis of my right arm and hand following the injury. I suffered agonizing neurological pain from a bracheal plexus injury and he never volunteered or suggested that I see a neurologist. I had to request a referral from my general practice doctor. I saw several U of Tx neurologists with less than satisfactory care, and finally after three years I have found the competent care that I am now receiving from Doctor Brahin. A patient isn't just parts. A patient is a complete organism that has inter-dependent parts. To Dr. Wirth, I was just a shoulder/arm injury. Perhaps that is his comfort zone, but for me my comfort zone included my right arm and hand. My comfort zone didn't include the agony of chronic neurological pain and diminished function. If you are… reading this Dr. Wirth, I hope that you will include courses in treating the total patient with compassion and admit when you are not capable of giving a patient the quality of care they deserve.
