If you need experience in dealing with Bladder Cancer, which I am; I truly recommend Dr. Matthews. Wonderful surgeon and experience with this type cancer. His staff is the greatest to deal with also at Mesa Urologist. Thanks so much Dr. Matthews for everything you have done for me. Rod and Dee Huber, formerly of Wisconsin; now in Arizona for Dr. Matthews to treat me.

He’s been my urologist now for 6 years. He’s done 3 biopsies of my prostate and his degree of caring and detail in my active surveillance is second to NONE. My wife passed away from brain cancer. I took her to MD Anderson in Houston Texas every 6 weeks for three and a half years. I wish she would have had the fortune to find the caliber of doctor at the best cancer hospital in the world that I have found in Doctor Matthews. My case is a difficult one and I’m glad he’s in charge of my prostate cancer treatment.

Dr. Matthews took care of my husband for 13 years we respected him and we love him and thanks we respect him for everything that he did for us and I know he will do the same for you

Dr. Matthews has been an outstanding doctor to me over the last three years and two biopsies. I highly recommend him.

I just had my 2nd visit with this doc. He is very measured in his approach. My PSA's pretty high and so he's doing various things to avoid having to do a biopsy. He is as aware as I am that prostate biopsies have become more dangerous lately due to e.coli and MRSA infections from these biopsies being on the rise. He is calm, he covers all the bases, has a ready smile, and a bit of a sense of humor that put me and my wife at ease. I am VERY impressed with his desire to find alternatives to a biopsy. He seems very caring. He is polite and courteous and did NOT seem rushed. So far I am VERY happy to have found him!

Excellent experience, caring and good staff..He has a dry sense of humor which is very much appreciated in nervous situations as getting probed.As the snowbirds fly home, it is easier to get appointments and I am sure glad I kept this appointment..he and his staff do an outstanding job.
