this is what happened .i am according to Dr James a stone maker i knew I had kidney stones my first visit he admitted me into the hospital and going to have surgery this is how he explained is in lameman terms im going to cut you around your left side I'm going to cut your bottom rib off take out your kidney cut it open it like a baked potato take out the stone sew your kidney back together put it back it in then staple you up that exactly what he said was I scare i was but I was very sick .beleaving and trusting him I did know what else to do i was in the hospital for two week's then he did the surgery my dad said three stones filled a styrofoam cups altogether I was in the hospital 5weeks he left the day after my surgery went on a vacation left me in palooci ?hands that man is mean didn't care for him at and he pulled out my staples and wasn't very nice about it I seen Dr James maybe a half a dozen times in total .5weeks he said I was stone free he need to see me again i went in… for an ultrasound and he said he missed one it was behind scare tissue the size of a pea .pretty big stone to miss any way he said shock wave so we did that now i have a lot of little stone's that I can't pass there to much scare tissue so he said we need to go through shock wave again this time he'll put a stent for the stones to pass through that didn't work rather the stent was coming out creating a free flow if you know I mean when I called him to tell him he was mad and told me just have someone pull it out so I did at home he didn't like being bothered on Thanksgiving i had two small daughters i was trying to fix turkey dinner for now i have a way lot more stones in me growing he said shockwave one more time I'll make a small cut on your back inch long and shatter them and vacume them out

If you have a urological problem, do not see this Doctor

Some years back, my very first experience with Dr. James was not very pleasant. His manner was abrupt, almost to the point of being rude. His questioning was more like an interrogation. He seemed to only want one word answers, if I tried to explain something, he cut me off.But, I was assured by people and my family doctor that he was one of the best urologists in the area.He once told me that he has a daughter with a weight problem. I also am very much overweight. At each visit, he told me that I needed to look into some sort of surgery for my weight because it helped his daughter.Well, I'm glad that it helped his daughter, but everybody is different.I go to my family doctor and am in a weight management program, and really don't need my urologist to be advising me about my weight.I recently have noticed blood in my semen, and went to Dr. James to check it out. I am very freaked about this, although I understand that it is often not something life-threatening. I waited for 55… minutes in the examining room for the doctor. I brought in a bloody pair of shorts, and he refused to even look at them. "Blood is blood." he said.It seems to me that if a patient brings something like that in to the doctor, the doctor should have enough good sense to figure out that the patient is highly concerned and at least make some effort to talk to the patient about the issue.Not Dr. James.I had a short list of 4 questions to ask the doctor. He was out the door after not more than 3-5 minutes. This is after about an hour wait to see him.I made another appointment, for him to take a look to see what the problem was.After thinking about, it, I just couldn't stand to deal with him again and canceled the appointment.So, I asked if I could change doctors. I was asked why, and I told them that I found Dr. James to be abrupt, rude and I could not communicate with him. They said they would have check with the doctors and would let me know.Within a few days, I got a call saying that I could change doctors and they made an appointment with Dr. Palleschi.On the day of my appointment, I received a call from the doctor's office telling me that Dr. Palleschi said he couldn't do anything for me that Dr. James couldn't do, and so he wouldn't see me.Talk about rude. If I don't give them 24 hours notice when canceling, they may charge me for the appointment.And, so much for a patient establishing comfortable, working relationship with his doctor.Apparently, at this practice, they have other priorities.Based upon my experience, I would not recommend this doctor or practice.

I had a cystocele done 6 months ago. And now I have to have a vagalcele and rectocele. I wish this was taken care of all at the same time. Now I am going to have another surgery within a 6 months time frame. I feel this should of been done all at once. Bedside manner is not this doctors specialty! I went for a 2nd opionion for the 2nd surgery. What I know now and have gone through Dr. James will not be doing the 2nd surgery. What has happened to me I would not want this to happen to anyone else. So my recommendations is to get a 2nd opinion, it is your body and one deserve compassion, understanding and respect. This I did not find with Dr.James.
