Dr. Shafagh Monazzam, MD

Dr. Shafagh Monazzam is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in surgery and orthopedic surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of California San Diego and completed his residency at the University of California Davis Orthopedic Residency program. Dr. Monazzam further advanced his expertise through a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the University of Chicago. With 16 years of experience in orthopedic care, he is fluent in English, Farsi, and Spanish.

Dr. Monazzam practices at several locations throughout California, including Saint Mary Medical Center, Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center, and College Medical Center South Campus. He provides care in South Gate, Long Beach, and Fountain Valley. His clinical focus includes treating joint pain, knee discomfort, and arthritis. He performs diagnostic imaging studies, joint fluid removal procedures, and therapeutic injections to help patients manage their orthopedic conditions.
