Within these month and a half, my journey with pain and discomfort was hindering my ability to sit and walk normal. It was a sciatic nerve attack that made me move on receiving there was a problem. This lead to MRI and seeing a Neurologist. I thank God for placing me in the hands of Dr. Victor Perry, who was the most pleasant and direct to my problem and what could be done. His bedside manner and tone of voice explaining what I would need and how long it would take for recovery, allowed me to know I was in good hands. Amazingly I am without pain and walking on my own with some limitations but after both of these surgeries Lumbar and Cervical within one day of each I am Blessed to have been lead to this Neurologist. I HIGHLY recommend him and his staff who are wonderful.

I underwent spine surgery for resection of a spinal cord tumor which Dr. Perry performed. He's very professional as is everyone that works with him. His bedside manner is great and his skills as a surgeon are second to none. Since my surgery I've never been healthier nor stronger and I have Dr. Perry to thank for that. I'm now starting a new career and it wouldn't have been possible without his expertise and professionalism. I highly recommend Dr. Perry to anyone that needs his help.

The other day one of my clients commented that all neurosurgeons have a God complex and are also unapproachable and rude, she said she'd never met any that were different. I stated that I had, her comment made me remember Dr Perry when my son had a AVM bled in 2002 Dr Perry was such a source of quiet confidence that I knew my son was in the best hands, many times I felt frustrated with the situation and Dr. Perry was always approachable and I felt like none of my questions were too dumb to ask and he always answered them. Love that Doctor!

Dr. Perry was my daughter's neurosurgeon. He is wonderfully awesome. He is missed at UNC.

My son performed neck surgery on my son. I waited MONTHS for him to come to UNC hospital. He is an absolutely wonderful neurosurgeon. That magnetic smile let me know everything was going to be okay. I recently found out he will no longer be seeing patients at UNC. This news IS devestating to my family. But, I look at as he was in the right place at the right time for my son. You WILL be missed. We love him dearly.

Dr. Perry and his team are some of the best doctors I have ever dealt with. They answered all of my questions and put me at ease before and after my daughter's surgery. During the hospital stay they checked on my daughter and didn't release her until they knew that she was 100% ok to be released.
