Dr. Kenneth Andre Desandies, MD

I moved to the DMV area 7 years ago from Atlanta and found Dr. DeSandies from my insurance provider list and I'm very happy with his service and his staff. I originally begin seeing him in Maryland and now I see him in Virginia. His staff is very friendly and pleasant and he is very attentive to his patients and listens and offers excellent solutions and advice. I highly recommend Dr. DeSandies!

Dr. Desandies has been my physician for 8 years and I couldn't ask for a better doctor. His bedside manner is impeccable and his staff is very kind and professional. I have reccommended him to several of my family members who are also now patients of his. He's caring, considerate, and very thorough in his care. Dr. Desandies is not the type of physician that will rush through your appointment. I am grateful to God that I have been blessed with such a wonderful human being as my physician.

Best Gynecologist ever!!! He delivered all of my children, Dr. Desandies had been my OBGYN since I was a teen. Dr, Desandies taught me all about how my body works, so when I see other doctors I can inform them of my bodies history. Thank you Dr. Desandies for years of being a great doctor, friend and a really caring doctor for your patients. They don't make a lot of doctors like you any more.

While Dr. DeSandies himself was very nice and I enjoyed my visit with him, I feel compelled to describe my experience with him at Nova Patient Care in Alexandria: was offered unnecessary medical tests as part of the office's routine service, inappropriately reassured that all would be covered, and then found the office completely unresponsive to the subsequent billing issues that it/Dr. DeSandies alone could resolve with absolutely no sympathy or accountability or consideration of my time (had to call repeatedly for over 6 weeks). $1000 bill for requesting STD screening!

Really good doctor

Dr. DeSandies delivered my first child(girl) in 2004, my pregnancy was great the whole way through, and never worried at all with the help of Dr DeSandies telling me all the way through that I was going to have a healthy baby, and he was right. Now I am returning to him, because I am planning to have my 2nd, can't wait to see him and the staff.

Dr. desandies always helpedm in regard to health care. He saved my life. may God bless him always.

Dr. Desandies does not waste your time with superfluous procedures and doctor visits. I have seen several gynocologists in order to deal with the same problem and many have suggested investigative surgery. Dr. Sandies listened carefully to my symptoms and history and chose an alternative route to begin, explaining in detail his train of thought. I am relieved to say that I am finally on my way to recovery. I trust in his deliberative method.

Dr. Desandies deliveried my third child, he was pleasant and polite. And stayed on top my pregnancy. My baby was a large baby, but he was determined that I was going to deliver a health baby girl. I have a terrible case of morning sickness that would come anytime throughout the day, and my blood pressure would shoot up every now and then. He placed me on bed rest for the reminding month of the pregnancy and had me to be monitered every week my Alexandria Hospital. I began to have trouble dilating because I was 38 weeks and my baby was already 8lbs. He scheduled for a C-Section, long story short two weeks later I went into labor but still was not dilating. Dr. Desandies was out of town, after one phone call to him. He returned to perform my C-Section and delivered my baby girl and health 9lb 13oz. He kept me in the hospital for a week after becuase I ended up getting pneumonia. But he was the best doctor, he explained everything from day one up until delivery.
