Dr. Browne is insensitive and can care less about you as a person. For her, you are just a transaction. Bad experience every time, very dismissive, doesn't answer any questions or explain anything and very abrupt. If you are looking for a professional who truly cares and will give you hope after seeing them especially when you are going through an emotional rollercoaster every time, you better schedule with someone else!

Dr. Browne was very compassionate. I went through 2 retrievals and 5 transfers to get pregnant. She was willing to tweak the protocols to find what worked best for me.

Dr. Browne barely engages with patients, she is cold and does not save any time to answer questions or discuss procedures with you. She walks in, performs a procedure, says you will get a follow up phone call from the nurse, and leaves before you even have a chance to say anything. Terrible.

I LOVE Dr. Browne and am so happy I found her. Having infertility issues is stressful and scary. You aren't sure what's going to happen or if you will ever see the light at the end of the tunnel. Making an appointment at Shady Grove and choosing Dr. Browne as our doctor was the best decisions I ever made. From the very beginning she explained everything clearly so we could understand our options and she let us make the choices that were best for us. After a few failed IUI attempts, we decided to move on to IVF. Dr. Browne was more than supportive throughout the whole process; saying that she is compassionate is an understatement. Each time we had a failed IVF cycle she was right there encouraging us a giving us hope that it would all work out. I’ll never forget what she said after our second failed IVF cycle, she said “I’m not going to give up until we get you a baby”. She took the time to try different methods to get us our babies and for that we are so grateful. When I graduated from… Shady Grove it was bitter sweet. We had been through so much together that I didn’t want to go back to my obstetrician; I wanted to stay under the care of Dr. Brown because she is truly the best. If you are looking for a doctor who will genuinely support you through one of the most difficult times in your life and someone that is in for the long haul, then go see Dr. Browne…it will be one of the best decisions of your life!

Dr Browne has helped me conceive twice, and has been incredibly supportive and involved during the struggling times between conception. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Browne if you are struggling with fertility.

After actively trying for over three years my husband and i sought assistance through Shady Grove Fair Oaks and were assigned to Dr. Browne. The entire Shady Grove team at Fair Oaks, Fairfax, and Rockville are outstanding. I never left an appointment with out feeling completely informed and satisfied with next steps and what all procedures entail. Dr. Browne was especially easy to talk to and very informative. She is a doctor that truly cares about her patients and does everything she can to help them conceive. Thanks to her we are now expecting! Every question i had, no matter when i had it, i was able to get an answer within 24 hrs. Being well informed, feeling like my doctor actually cared, and the friendliness and ease of working with the support staff made this last year of working with Shady Grove a pleasant experience, no matter how awkward and uncomfortable you are physically. While all the doctors at the Fair Oaks office are great, i would highly recommend Dr. Browne… for her knowledge and her ability to make you feel at ease during this process.

My husband and I had tried to conceive for almost 2 years before we ended up at Shady Grove. We were diagnosed with unexplained infertility, which was unbelievably frustrating. I had passed all of my tests and my husband had inconsistent semen analysis, but generally strong numbers. We wanted to start our treatments with IUI, with an understanding that IVF would be a realistic possibility. The day of my IUI my husband had very low motility in his sperm, so our chances of conceiving through IUI was only 3-5%. Dr. Browne performed the procedure and explained everything to me. We sat down with Dr. Browne a few days after my IUI to discuss our plan going forward since there was a high possibility that our first IUI wouldn’t work. Dr. Browne was professional, thoroughly explained all of our options and did not sugar coat anything. I appreciate how matter of fact she was. Although the situation is very sensitive, I appreciate that Dr. Browne was straight forward with us. A week later, I went… in to take my pregnancy test following my IUI and to our surprise it came back positive! Despite our low chances of conception, we were pregnant! 9 months later, I delivered a beautiful, healthy baby girl and it would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the amazing staff at Shady Grove and Dr. Browne. I would highly recommend seeing her for your infertility treatment.

My husband and I will never be able to express just how thankful we are to have been patients of Dr. Browne. She and the entire team at the Fair Oaks office made the overwhelming process of fertility treatment easier and more comfortable than I ever expected it could be. The front desk and nursing staff members were kind and compassionate and I never felt like just another number. Dr. Browne was not only a wonderful doctor, she was an amazing support for my husband and I as we went through the process, which at times was heartbreaking. She never gave up on us, and she always encouraged us to remain positive. I always felt like I was getting the answers I needed, even though sometimes they weren’t the answers I wanted. She is compassionate, empathetic and human, and I knew she was dedicated to helping us….not for numbers or statistics, but for us, because she truly, genuinely wanted to… help. I trusted her every step of the way and have recommended her to others. The nursing staff was also awesome! If I couldn't get in touch with my nurse there was always someone else who was happy to talk to me and answer all of my questions. They were kind, understanding and patient.
