"I was on a field trip down in Florida in 1993-got taken to a local hospital that didn't have a neurosurgeon so I was flown to ormc and then being 17 transfered to arnold palmers women's and children hospital- had a horrific shunt infection-spent a month there- multiple external shunts and a whole lot of super heavy antibiotics before it cleared and I could have the 'permanent' shunt inserted-wonderful Dr, wonderful nurses- I'm now on shunt #12 and I've had great Drs and horrible ones- - Dr pattisapu was one of the best..."
